Event Description
This year celebrates 22 years of the Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF), which was inaugurated in Hong Kong to serve the region''''s burgeoning leather sector. Since that time, Asia has become the global hub of shoe and leather manufacture, and APLF has developed to become the largest and most important leather exhibition in the world. Here you can see the complete spectrum of the leather industry - from hides and skins through shoe and leathermaking technology to finished footwear, apparel, fashion accessories and leathergoods. APLF Materials, Manufacturing and Technology (MMT) was formerly known as APLF Raw Materials and Manufacturing. Refocused in 2004 to reflect developments within the industry, APLF - MMT now features a wider variety of non-leather materials used in conjunction with traditional leather products such as sports shoes and travelware.
