The 2008 Freight Forwarding Conference in Qingdao held by JCtrans will start on March 18, 2008. It will later be held in several other cities across China to deliver the idea of online logistics to the Chinese logistics community.
The last conference was held in Tianjin, Shenzhen and Shanghai in 2007, with the main topic "the blue sea strategy for freight forwarders". It attracted thousands of Chinese logistics professionals to come and express their opinions on the industries hot topics during 2007. The 2008 Freight Forwarding Conference in Qingdao will focus on "The marketing strategy for freight forwarders", in order for logistics companies to improve their marketing ability and help generate new ideas. This conference will be larger then the previous year's, and it has attracted logistics related companies from most of the important ports across China including Qingdao, Guangzhou, Ningbo, etc. In addition, it will try to attract more logistics related companies, such as ship owners and shippers, which is different from the one last year. Many port authorities and associations are also actively supporting the conference.
The 2008 Freight Forwarding Conference in Qingdao will be held in the Shangri-La Hotel in Qingdao. Up to now, over 400 local logistics companies and about 100 shippers and ship owners have registered to attend the conference.
