On the 22 Aril 2008, JCtrans held the 2008 Freight Forwarding Conference in Dalian. Representatives from around 200 different enterprises attended the conference. They all expressed their opinions on how to control running costs, improve marketing and the effect of the RMB's exchange rate on exports. They also all agreed that information would play an increasingly important role in overcoming the competition.
After the conference, several representatives exchanged name cards with Miss. Helen, Qin, representative of American shipping line from JCtrans, and showed that they would contact her when they have demands for American agencies and partners. Some of them were also interested in our CCP and GCP member services.
Last year JCtrans has held the 2007 Freight Forwarding Conference in Tianjin, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Ningbo and Xiamen and attracted over 2000 logistics companies from across China. The 2008 Freight Forwarding Conference has already been held in Qingdao and Dalian, and will be later take part in Tianjin, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Xiamen, which covers the 8 most important ports throughout China.
