The air cargo industry attending transport logistic/Air Cargo China gathered last night at the Grand Hyatt Shanghai in Pudong for the Air Cargo Week world Air Cargo Awards 2008, designed to celebrate excellence and achievement in the global air cargo industry.
After enjoying a champagne reception (sponsored by Virgin Atlantic Cargo), the guests were entertained by live music from Australian group Flight, especially flown in for the evening by flagcarrier Qantas, and a sumptuous banquet meal.
But the highlight of the evening was the announcement of the winners of the 10 prestigious awards available on the night, the trophies handed over by the very important sponsors of each. The winners were:
