2008-1-24

January 23, 2008, jctrans.net---At 3 pm, January 23, 2008, Air Cargo India 2008 commenced at the World Trade Center, Mumbai. The representatives belonging to over 50 attendee companies from different locations all around the world were busy preparing for the exhibition.

The main venue of the exhibition was the Expo Center on the third floor of the World Trade Center. The attendees included representatives from airports, airline companies, air cargo companies, software companies and other related fields. Around 80% of them had arrived the day before to set up their booths in preparation for the exhibition. In order to attract more attention and business opportunities, they had decorated their booths with artifacts showing their countries' own unique culture and characteristics. For example, Saudi Arabia Cargo decorates its booth in the style of a mosque; Sky Cargo from the United Arab Emirates divided their booth into several parts and put a huge photo of their company in front of the booth; MAS Cargo's booth looked simple but exquisite. This showed the importance of Air Cargo India 2008 for the attendees, who had come from around the globe.

According to the organizers of Air Cargo India 2008, there was an estimated 1000 people expected to take part in the topic discussion and one-on-one meetings scheduled at the exhibition.
