CSL to launch joint new service between north Europe and S America east coast

China Shipping Line (CSL) is to launch a new container service between north Europe and the east coast of South America in partnership with Hatsu Marine, "K" Line and Maruba.

A CSL statement said the new fixed-day weekly service will start from the end of March and six 2,000-TEU vessels will be deployed.

The port rotation will be: Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Santos, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rio Grande, Itajai, Santos and Rotterdam.

China Shipping and "K" Line will each provide two vessels to the service, while Hatsu Marine and Maruba will provide one each, the statement added.
