China is considering listing some of its state-owned companies in London, the Sunday Telegraph reported Sunday.
Officials from the state-owned Assets Supervision & Administration Commission, or Sasac, held talks in Beijing last week with Andrew Cahn, chief executive officer of UK Trade & Investment, the newspaper said. The plan includes listing companies in industries such as chemicals, power, telecommunications and railway construction. As many as six Chinese companies have listed their shares in London, the newspaper said.
