ECU-LINE opens export consolidation office in Fremantle

ECU-LINE Australia has officially opened a new branch office in Fremantle, Australia to offer export consolidations weekly to Singapore and New Zealand from Australia, according to Shipping Gazette.
The new office is headed by Rob Page, who has strong local knowledge and 15 years of experience in the western Australian market.
He will be responsible for the existing import services from Singapore, Shanghai, Antwerp and Taiwan, and is also tasked with building a weekly export freight forwarding service to both Singapore and Auckland, a company statement said.
Known as the "most geographically isolated port in the world," the port of Fremantle serves Perth and western Australia, an area covering 2.5 million square kilometres.
All LCL sea freight is cleared and processed through Fremantle port.
