G6 revamps Asia-North America network as part of alliance expansion

Hong Kong's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced that the G6 Alliance has amended its service network between Asia and North America following its service expansion, according to Shipping Gazette.
The new service structure is expected to strengthen the alliance's position by offering more comprehensive and efficient services with competitive transit times, said the group statement. 
With an increased frequency of 14 weekly sailings to the US west coast and eight weekly sailings to the east coast, the expanded port coverage includes Seattle, Miami and the new direct services from Japan covering Vancouver and US east coast. 
Other service enhancements include direct shuttle services between Asia (Shanghai/Ningbo) and North America. The carrier said it will also continue to offer its existing suite of transpacific services in addition to the services listed below.
The G6 is offering from May the following services: South East Asia (SE1): Singapore, Shenzhen-Chiwan, Kaohsiung, Los Angeles, Yokohama, Kaohsiung and back to Singapore.
South East Asia 2 (SE2) rotates through Laem Chabang, Cai Mep, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Oakland, Hong Kong and back to Laem Chabang.
South East Asia 3 (SE3): Jebel Ali, Al Hidd, Dammam, Port Klang, Singapore, Laem Chabang, Shenzhen-Yantian, Los Angeles, Oakland, Busan, Shanghai, (Waigaoqiao), Ningbo, Shenzhen-Yantian, Singapore and back to Jebel Ali.
South China 1 (SC1): Xiamen, Shenzhen-Chiwan, Shenzhen-Yantian, Los Angeles, Oakland, Kaohsiung and back to Xiamen.
South China 2 (SC2): Shenzhen-Dachan Bay, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Yantian, Kaohsiung, Long Beach, Kaohsiung, Xiamen, Hong Kong and back to Shenzhen-Dachan Bay.
Central China 1 (CC1): Shanghai, (Waigaoqiao), Kwangyang, Busan, Los Angeles, Oakland, Busan, Kwangyang and back to Shanghai.
