KARACHI: Two ships C.V CMA CGM Wagner and M.T Feng Hai-32 carrying containers and Palm oil were allotted berths at Qasim International Container Terminal end Liquid Cargo Terminal respectively at Port Qasim on Wednesday.
Meanwhile three more ships C.V CMA CGM Eiffel, C.V Kerstin-S and M.T Al-Muminah carrying container and furnace oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was managed at the Port at 29% on Wednesday Where four ships namely C.V CMA CGM Wagner, C.V Maersk Kalamata, C.V Diera and M.T Feng Hai-32 were occupied PQA berths at load/offload containers and Palm oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 60,677 tonnes, comprises 28,966 tonnes imports and 31,711 tonnes exports inclusive containerized cargo carried in 2,583 containers (TEUs) (914 imports and 1,669 exports TEUs) were handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
Container vessel CMA CGM Wagner is expected to sail on Thursday (today) afternoon.
Three ships C.V Kerstin-S, C.V CMA CGM Eiffel and M.T Al-Muminoh carrying containers and furnace oil are expected to take berths at Berths Container Terminal and Fotco Terminal respectively on thursday.
While C.V Tessa and C.V Mytilina are due to arrive at Port Qasim on Friday.
