CaroTrans, a NVOCC (non-vessel operating common carrier) and ocean freight consolidator, announced a new weekly, direct, all-water LCL (less than container load) service from the US West Coast to points in Central America including Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Panama.
This comprehensive distribution network delivers full coverage of Central American locations via secure, bonded, on-forwarding. The US West Coast service features enhanced transits, reduced handling and lower costs compared to routing via the traditional Miami Gateway.
CaroTrans has an established US infrastructure, including 24 local CFS (container freight stations), that provide customers with local support and experience throughout the US. On the West Coast, CaroTrans offers consolidation centres in Seattle, Portland and San Francisco for expedited service to the Los Angeles gateway.
“This new US West Coast service to Central America further reinforces our commitment to delivering services where they are needed. After 35 years of providing dependable global ocean transportation services, we have a strong, experienced network designed to provide our customers with first-class service and support,” said Greg Howard, global CEO of CaroTrans.
