Singapore-based modern logistics provider Global Logistic Properties (GLP) has signed nine lease agreements totaling approximately 180,000m² in several location across Japan.
All the agreements were signed by third-party logistics (3PL) providers or wholesale distributors to cater to domestic consumption.
Properties under the agreements include a 69,000m² at a Greater Tokyo property; 35,000m² at a Greater Osaka property; 35,000m² at GLP Atsugi in Greater Tokyo with a wholesale distributor and a 3PL provider.
They also include 22,000m² of lease at GLP Misato III in Greater Tokyo to three 3PL companies including Panalpina World Transport Japan; a 15,000m² to Asahi Logistics at GLP Fukuoka; and a 4,000m² at GLP Shinsuna in Tokyo.
