India's total container traffic has registered year on year growth of 19 per cent during the 2007-08 fiscal year after throughput reached 6.7 million TEU at the nation's ports.
During April to June 2008, container throughput at Indian ports amounted to 1,056,556 TEU, a growth of 12.18 per cent year on year, reports SteelGuru, a steel industry new site near Delhi.
