Bigger ships put on ESX service from New World and CMA CGM

Container shipping lines participating in The New World Alliance (TNWA) along with French shipping company CMA CGM are upgrading their Asia-US east coast (ESX) service, starting this month.

As a result of the upgrade the 3,500-TEU vessels used on the service will be replaced by eight 4,800-TEU ships.

The port rotation for the ESX service is: Ningbo, Shanghai, Chiwan (Chiwan Container Terminal), Hong Kong, Panama City, Manzanillo, Savannah, New York, Norfolk.
