Brussels Cargo, the cargo arm of Brussels Airlines, has launched a saylight Courier service to six cities across Europe. The service initially serves Athens, Barcelona, Lisbon, Nice, Madrid and Warsaw to and from Brussels carrying shipments containing pieces of up to 32 kilograms each. The frequency and reliability of our services in Europe make this a viable new product for courier, express and freight forwarding companies, said Guy Hardy, head of cargo sales at Brussels Airlines. With standard acceptance times of 60 minutes before departure and fast clearance on arrival at destination, we expect to attract good customer support, particularly for shipments of spare parts and medical/health care products. The new service will be marketed by the airline exclusive cargo general sales agent, Globe Air Cargo, part of European Cargo Services (ECS). Brussels Cargo operates daily bellyhold cargo flights to Brussels Airlines?African and European destinations. In addition, the cargo department works with other airlines in order to also offer intercontinental and trans-European cargo flights. |
