Maersk Logistics has been presented with the Transport/Logistics/Freight Award at the first Seatrade Asia 2008 Awards held in Singapore earlier this month.
The award recognises the level of integrated logistics services provided across the supply chain, value-added services in Asia, as well as the service providers' contribution to logistics and supply chain excellence in Asia, a company statement said.
Steffen Schiottz-Christensen, CEO of Maersk Logistics North Asia, said: "This is a great achievement for Maersk Logistics. It is a clear indication of the good progress made by our people that we use technology innovations to help our customers create value in their business in improving their supply chain effectiveness and efficiency."
In North Asia, Maersk Logistics has a network of 24 offices employing 2,500 staff.
