Senator Lines doubles capacity on New Med Express

Shortly after increasing capacity on its Mediterranean Express Service (MEX), Senator Lines has announced it will now double capacity on its New Mediterranean Express Service (NMX) from June.

The first journey with the increased allocation of the Germany-based ocean carrier is the YM Bamboo, leaving Shanghai on June 6 on its westbound voyage to the Mediterranean.

The rotation of the weekly NMX service is: Genoa, Livorno, Fos sur Mer, Port Said, Jeddah, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Said and Genoa.

According to Senator CEO Hans-Hermann Mohr the doubling of capacity on the MEX and the NMX service aims to meet the high demand and cargo volumes on trade lanes between the Mediterranean, the Middle East and northern China.
