APL, Hanjin offer twice weekly Vietnam Singapore Taiwan service

2008-5-18

APL and Hanjin have started their twice weekly Southern Vietnam Express Service (SVX) that operates between Vietnam, Taiwan and Singapore, complementing three existing APL weekly feeder services to Vietnam.

The new service, deploying 700-TEU vessels, will have a rotation of Ho Chi Minh City, Kaohsiung, Singapore and back to Ho Chi Minh City.

"The SVX provides reliability and flexibility as global demand for Vietnam's products continues to grow and also gives our customers access to APL's linehaul service connections to destinations throughout the US and Europe," said APL vice president Bob Sappio.
