Hanjin Shipping starts Asia/Australia service with new partners

South Korea's Hanjin Shipping has found new partners for the Far East/Australia trade with its participation on the North Asia-China-Australia (NCA) service, jointly operated with Evergreen Line and Hapag-Lloyd, coming to an end.

Effective May 4, Hanjin will team up with Chinese carrier Sinotrans and fellow Seoul-based lines STX Pan Ocean and Heung-A Shipping to start the China-Korea Australia (CKA) service. The port rotation will be Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Kaohsiung, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and back to Busan. Hanjin will contribute two of the five 1,200-TEU ships with the other partners providing one each.
