Singapore's Neptune Orient Lines box trade grows 10pc in February

Container shipping company Neptune Orient Lines (NOL) has announced a 10 per cent increase in the volume of containers carried in the four weeks to March 7 compared with the same period a year earlier.

The Singapore-based carrier said in a statement that its container shipping arm APL transported 175,200 FEU during the reporting period, said Reuters.

The average revenue on each container carried by NOL grew by 14 per cent to US$2,846, up from $2,500 in the same period last year, the report added.
