CSAV Norasia opens own office in Kuala Lumpur

2008-4-2

CSAV Norasia has opened its new office in Kuala Lumpur this month.

The Kuala Lumpur office is intended to enhance the container shipping line's network within Asia by providing a greater choice of liner services from the region to the rest of the world.

Mr Jeremy Chapman has been appointed general manager for the new office, CSAV Group Agencies (Malaysia).

The opening of the new office follows the termination of CSAV and CSAV Norasia's agreements with its former agent, NBM Agencies.

This development comes after CSAV/CSAV Norasia have been active in Malaysia for more than a decade with representative offices in all major cities.

The CSAV Group Agencies (Malaysia) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CSAV. Based in Chile, it is one of the world's oldest shipping companies with more than 300 offices globally to serve the trades in Asia, Europe, North America, the Mediterranean, the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East and South America.
