Europe and China grant each other unrestricted maritime access

The EU and China have opened their maritime transport markets to each other providing unrestricted access starting as the terms of a 2002 Brussels treaty kick in this month.

The deal allows for free access to cargo and cross trades, unrestricted access to and non-discriminatory treatment in the use of ports and auxiliary services as well as commercial presence, reports American Shipper.
