CSCL launches Fuzhou-Zhangzhou-Yingkou short-sea service

China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) launched a regular weekly domestic trade service from Fuzhou to Yingkou via Zhangzhou, Xinhua reported.

CSCL's 4,250-TEU Xin Yang Shan made its maiden voyage March 19, departing from the Fuzhou International Container Terminal (FICT) after loading and unloading 1,709 containers, the report said.

Vessel operation efficiency record was updated to 180 container per hour, up from 146.6 container per hour, a record set by FICT on January 31, 2007, the report said.

While the new average quay operation efficiency record was set at 48.7 container an hour compared with the previous record of 45.2 containers an hour, the report said.
