Zhangjiagang Huada Terminal passed check and inspection by Jiangsu authority and became Zhangjiagang's first opening terminal in 2008, Xinhua reported.
The new terminal, jointly invested by Jiangsu Panhua Group and Wise Fund Investment Co Ltd covers two 10,000-tonne berths and three 20,000-tonne berths with total quay length of 908 metres and annual capacity of 5.92 million tonnes, the report said.
Work on the new terminal was started in May 2006, the report added.
