Asia Australia Discussion Agreement drops peak season surcharge

The Asia Australia Discussion Agreement announced that it has decided to lift the application of the peak season surcharge (PSS) on all shipments from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to Australia from February 11.

The AADA, a quasi-shipping conference, is a voluntary discussion forum of 13 ocean carriers servicing the trade from north and east Asia to destinations in Australia.

Members include ANL, China Shipping Container Line, Cosco, Hamburg Sud, Hanjin Shipping, Hyundai Merchant Marine,"K" Line, Maersk, MSC, MOL Line, NYK, OOCL, Gold Star Line and Zim.
