2008-1-3

Bien Dong Shipping Company (BDS), a member of the state-owned Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group (VINASHIN), has stepped up the frequency of its weekly container shipping service between Hong Kong and Haiphong in Vietnam.

Starting from January, 2008, this service is being operated with two sailings per week. Cargo closing is scheduled for every Monday and Friday, a statement from the shipping line said.

A second vessel has also been deployed on the newly upgraded service, named the Van Hung, which joins the Van LY on this trade route.
