The State-owned Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines) will pour US$300 million into construction at Ba Ngoi port in 2008.
Vinalines plans to build two container ports and one multi-purpose port to better serve the needs of larger vessels.
Ba Ngoi port on October 31 became the 61st port under the Vinalines flag.
