Shenzhen's Yantian Container Terminal (YCT) has been rated the best in China with Qingdao's Qianwan Container Terminal following behind while Shenzhen's Chiwan Container Terminal (CCT) placed third, according to the rating of the China Ports & Harbours Association (CPHA).
The result of the appraisal of China's container terminals by CPHA's Container Branch was unveiled at the CPHA summit in Fuzhou recently. The ratings have been made every year since 2003.
The ranking of CCT this year raised it from the fourth place ranking it achieved last year. CCT was also awarded the accolade for being the Outstanding Vessel Operation Productivity Container Terminal.
