Box volume at China's major container ports grew 22.7 percent after nine months of 2007 to 82.11 million TEUs, according to statistics supplied by OOCL China. The leading 10 Chinese ports as judged by container throughput through September 2007 are: 1. Shanghai, 19.35 million TEUs. 2. Shenzhen, 14.94 million TEUs. 3. Qingdao, 7.01 million TEUs. 4. Ningbo-Zhoushan, 6.98 million TEUs. 5. Guangzhou, 6.81 million TEUs. 6. Tianjin, 5.23 million TEUs. 7. Xiamen, 3.39 million TEUs. 8. Dalian, 2.73 million TEUs. 9. Lianyungang, 1.32 million TEUs. 10.
