POSTED: 10:10 a.m. EDT, May 26,2007

Brussels Airlines extended its contract with Unitpool, by a further five years.

“Working within the Unitpool model supports growth and furthermore we will benefit from the economies of scale brought by the pooling approach,” states Vic de Baets, manager cargo and Jar-Ops, Brussels Airlines.

“We are thrilled that Brussels Airlines has chosen to extend our agreement. Their commitment is a fruit of our focus on quality, especially on improving the understanding and delivery of the pooling concept in the stations, where it really matters,” added Unitpool’s, chief executive officer, David Harman.

Furthermore, Peter Sturzenegge will retire, and hand over his duties to Martin Koch.
Dirk Jan de Roo, vice-president operations support, will leave Swissport, leaving task to Philip Joeinig.
