OHL handles all warehousing for Saxco-Demptos from the 3PL's campus in Fairfield, California. In addition, OHL performs kitting of bottles and packaging for shipments to select California wineries.

Having previously handled its logistics services internally, Saxco-Demptos felt it could achieve higher service levels and greater efficiency though a 3PL.

“We have agreed on common measures of operational success and we are confident that we will reach all of the targeted improvements,” commented Rich Bouwer, general manager of Saxco-Demptos.

An average of 180,000 sq.ft of space is used by Saxco-Demptos, but since demand can vary according to seasonal fluctuations, OHL can expand and contract space in its multi-client campus.
