French shipping line Delmas has announced that from May 1 all of its agency arrangements in Malaysia will be handled by CMA CGM & ANL Malaysia.

Prior to this arrangement, Sunship (Malaysia) had acted as Delmas' agent in the Southeast Asian nation for many years.

Delmas serves the north-south trade from Europe, focussing in particular on the Africa trade.

From Morocco to Kenya and the Indian Ocean islands, Delmas operates 15 regular container shipping services to and from Europe and Asia that call at the major ports in Africa. Delmas says it has the ability to then on-carry cargo from an African port to any in-land destination on the continent.

Delmas' Cross-Trade services also enable the company to connect Africa to any part of the world, a company statement said.
