FLEDGLING carrier, Emirates Shipping Line FZE, has become a member of the Inttra network, raising the total number of participating carriers to 23.
Inttra is the largest e-commerce platform for the ocean industry representing 63 per cent of sea freight capacity among the world's top carriers. INTTRA initiates more than 165,000 container orders each week and originates over US$11 billion worth of ocean freight.

INTTRA provides us with the best solution in terms of data exchange with our ERP (enterprise resource planning) system," said Emirates chairman and CEO Vikas M Khan.

Mr Khan says that a close partnership with Inttra should allow Emirates to offer customers solutions adapted to its network.
