POSTED: 2:21 p.m. EDT, February 1,2007

China's SITC Container Lines has launched a new weekly Ningbo-Japan service (NSU) and added a port call to Ningbo onto its existing China-Japan/Keihin (SKT) loop.

The new NSU loop is operated by SITC's 300 teu Hai Feng Lian Fa, which left the port of Ningbo yesterday. It will visit Shanghai, Hakata and Moji before returning to Ningbo.

Meanwhile, SITC has also added Ningbo to and taken Keelung out from its weekly SKT service, which is run by the SITC Shanghai and Sunrise Express.

The rotation of the SKT service has become: Hong Kong, Xiamen, Shanghai, Tokyo, Yokohama, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong and Xiamen.
