Finnair Cargo five times to India
POSTED: 8:37 a.m. EDT, December 1,2006
JUST one month after commencing direct services to India, Finnair Cargo is considering increasing the number of frequencies from three to five per week.

The carrier’s MD-11Fs flights have been almost full. Sixty-four per cent of traffic to date has been destined for Finland and Scandinavia, while the remainder has been for Europe and the CIS.

Finnair is represented in India by Global Aviation Services. This general sales agent has 16 cargo offices covering all major airports. “We have represented Finnair for many years as an offline carrier, and so we were very confident that their decision to commence online services would be well-rewarded,” commented HK Vithalani, Global’s chairman.
