Samsung Australia renews agreement with BAX
POSTED: 9:27 a.m. EDT, November 5,2006

SAMSUNG Electronics Australia (SEAU) has recently renewed an agreement with BAX Global to utilise the company's expertise in the area of supply chain management in order to continue providing logistics services to SEAU's customers.

Since 2002 BAX Global has taken over the management of end-to-end supply chain services for Samsung Australia, including customs clearance for air- and seafreight, port to warehouse delivery, warehousing across seven sites, domestic outbound distribution, reverse logistics management, spare parts warehousing and domestic distribution, and more recently, for all air and ocean exports to New Zealand.

J S Park, SEAU managing director, said: "The ongoing commitment from the BAX team has provided us with the confidence to entrust the next phase of Samsung's growth in Australia with the joined forces of Schenker and BAX."
