SHANGHAI, Apr 8 (GCTL) - China's transportation industry posted a nationwide gain of 7.4 per cent year-on-year in January and February, but that growth was slowing, Transport Ministry spokesman Li Yang said.
Road, rail and waterway volume in the first two months added up to 6.82 billion tonnes, but growth was 2.2 per cent slower.
Cargo turnover was 2.8 trillion tonnes per kilometre, increasing 4.2 per cent but growth was 2.7 per cent slower.
