Freight rates for 10-tonne load section declined by INR 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following restricted cargo movements against heavy position of trucks.
Less arrivals of cargo along with large availability of trucks in the markets mainly pulled down some of centres freight rates, transporters said.
Delhi to Bangalore, Chennai and Vijaywada rates moved down by INR 1,000 each to INR 66,000, INR 68,000 and INR 62,000.
Rates to Pondicherry, Kochi and Guwahati rates also went down by INR 1,000 each to INR 70,000, INR 75,000 and INR 54,000.
