BEIJING, Apr 10 (GCTL) - Ameco Beijing is trying to keep ahead of the game despite of the intense competition from both domestic and international market. Up to this March, the Beijing-based MRO provider not only signed contracts with new customers but also meet workload peak time from airframe overhaul and landing gear.
In February, Ameco signed an agreement with Sabaidee Airways which is a Thai airline operating under the name of NewGen Airways, covering fleet service from 2014 to 2018 including AOG support, airframe C/D check, engine repair/overhaul, LDG repair/overhaul.
On March 7, Ameco Beijing redelivered the last Lufthansa Boeing 747 aircraft for winter season layover during 2013-2014. Total six Boeing 747s came to Ameco hangar separately for D-checks, C-checks and Tension Tie inspection/repair. From this October, Ameco will take the deliveries of another six Lufthansa Boeing 747 D-checks.
