Gulftainer wins contract in Abu Dhabi

Logistics operator and port manager Gulftainer is to provide on-site logistics services for plastics firm Borouge at its plant in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, in a five-year deal.

Group director and general manager Peter Richards said Gulftainer had been operating in the Middle East for more than 33 years. "This agreement with Borouge is a positive step in our strategy for growth in the region."

Gulftainer is also involved in a logistics and haulage joint-venture in Pakistan, a logistics venture in Turkey and a subsidiary, Momentum Logistics, based in Sharjah, which will handle the group's transport, ICD, warehousing and container repair businesses.
