Investigators from the Moscow Department of the Interior yesterday seized documents from Sheremetyevo Cargo, as part of criminal proceedings into the alleged smuggling of equipment through the cargo operator, according to Russian news service Vedomosti.
One analyst said he believed the problems facing the cargo ground handling company may be linked to attempts by Sheremetyevo Airport to dislodge the company in order to expand its own cargo handling activities.
