A public meeting will be held this weekend for villagers around Dunstable to find out how plans to change flightpaths in and out of Luton Airport will affect them.
Fears have been raised by residents in Studham, Whipsnade and Kensworth that the volume of air traffic flying over homes will shoot up if plans by National Air Traffic Systems (NATS) get the go-ahead. Anyone who would like to find out more about the impact of the possible changes has been urged to come to the meeting on Saturday (June 7).
The meeting will be at Studham Village Hall from 10:00. Among the speakers lined up is Michael Nidd of the London Luton Airport Town and Village Communities Committee (LLATVCC) who will be able to answer technical questions. |
