GE Security Inc plans to submit its CommerceGuard container security solution for participation in the next phase of US Customs and Border Protection (CBP)'s testing and evaluation of container security devices (CSD).
According to the Department of Homeland Security's synopsis of its request for information about CSDs, "CBP is interested in understanding and testing the current state of the art in those CSD systems offered as existing commercial products. The intent is to obtain mature CSD systems to be tested in laboratory, field and under operational conditions in order to evaluate system readiness for operational deployment." |
