Growing food and beverage market in Mexico

Fresh export statistics show that Mexico became New Zealand's 11th largest food and beverage market in 2007, up 47 percent on the previous year worth $540 million.

The largest category increases were wine, (248 percent), sugar products (132 percent), fish and seafood (85 percent) and vegetables (17 percent).

This is the result of constant work developed by the food and beverage companies together with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise.
