SEKO expands Dubai operations

2008-5-15

Logistics company SEKO said it had expanded its Dubai operations into a new facility under new management.
The company said the purpose of the office expansion and change in management is to better serve customers in the Dubai area and beyond, as well as to augment business by partnering with an established, independent organization that will adopt the SEKO brand. The company will work with Dubai-based Center Point Logistics and the locally owned Saleh Saeed Lootah Holdings.
Heading up the SEKO Dubai office are Brent Pearson, managing partner and Heather Thomson, partner-business development.
"What is unique about the Dubai market is that it is a strategic hub for the region and is a center point for transportation decision-making in the area," Pearson said. "Therefore, our well-established Dubai-based organization fits the SEKO business model and future growth plans very well. We are extremely focused on providing specialized services to our customer base and will continue to establish a greater presence in the UAE and the Middle East market."
The SEKO Dubai office is located in close proximity to the Dubai/Abu Dhabi Airport and the Jebel Ali Seaport and serves all major trade lanes through the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC), comprising Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The office also serves trade lanes throughout other developing markets with significant imports from the major ports throughout Asia.
