CEVA's contract logistics division has won three contracts from Eaton Corporation, a global Cleveland-based industrial manufacturer, to handle a range of services from its Valinhos plant, 90 kilometres north of Sao Paulo.
The first contract deals with activities including transport of raw materials and finished products. The second covers transport of finished transmissions from the end of the production line to storage and distribution. The third deals with packaging for loose pieces destined to aftermarket sales, said a CEVA statement.
These three contracts will represent a 30 per cent increase in turnover between CEVA Brazil and Eaton Brazil, and will involve 56 employees and 10 forklifts, said CEVA.
