Australian transport and logistics group Toll Holdings secured majority ownership of Hong Kong freight forwarder BALtrans Holdings and has waived all remaining conditions under its US$0.974 per share bid.
Toll said that at the close of business it held acceptances for 56.51 percent of BALtrans shares under the offer, which has been extended to February 29, and will increase to $0.994 per share if it reaches the compulsory acquisition threshold.
