GERMAN global express giant DHL has announced that its office has relocated to Enterprise Square Five, MegaBox, Kowloon Bay, a move the company says will enhance efficiency by bringing employees together and provide space for growth.

Some 800 employees made the move to the new premises covering 120,000 square feet, said a company press release, adding that the relocation will foster greater teamwork and collaboration. "Additionally, the move will enhance business synergies across DHL Express and play a role in building capacity to benefit from the growth in the region's trade," it said.

"The greater synergies between different functional units will leave us well positioned to tap into increasing business opportunities in the region," said DHL Express Hong Kong general manager Connie Tang.

DHL employs 300,000 employees working in more than 220 countries and territories worldwide. DHL is a Deutsche Post World Net brand. The group generated revenues of EUR60 billion (US$86.1 billion) in 2006.
