2008-1-2

Aramex, one of the world's total transportation solutions providers, has announced that it is in the final stages of completing Phase II of its logistics centre in Jebel Ali Port and Free Zone, providing a major boost to the company's supply chain solution capabilities.

In-line with its expansion plans, the new 10,000 sq. m addition is part of a 25,000 sq. m mega-facility that is acting as a strategic hub for Aramex's key markets across the GCC, solidifying its position as a leader within the region's growing logistics industry.

Phase II is set to add significant additional capacity, and will link through to Aramex's other key logistics centers in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Aqaba, Amman, Beirut, Cairo and Bahrain.

Recognizing the enormous potential of Dubai as a commercial hub, Aramex has another mega-facility in the works in Dubai Logistic City, another key infrastructure investment that will ensure Aramex remains at the cutting edge of innovation.
