Miele picks Schenker for spare parts logistics in Finland

German appliance manufacturer Miele has selected Schenker to handle its spare parts logistics needs in Finland.
Under terms of the contract, which starts Jan. 1, Miele's spare parts activities in the Nordic country will move to the Schenker's premises in Helsinki. Schenker's parcel service Schenker Express will then deliver all Miele spare parts throughout the country.
In April, Miele's remaining warehousing activities, now located in the city of Hanko, will move to Schenker's multimodal logistics center at the Port of Turku. Schenker will continue as the national distributor of Miele's products in Finland.
